l'Aula de Teatre de Mataró (Mataró's Theatre Class) has already been working for 25 years. A long period in which young actors and actresses have been trained, and in which they have helped people know and love theater in general sense and in detail. It has been, and it still is, a stage to express yourself, to change, to take another personality or behaviour and make it real . It is a school to learn techniques, to practice and establish a permanent relationship with acting, characters, storytelling and body language. I can do courses of different levels or specific monographs, I can devote my life to it or just try for a while.

 

The Engraving workshop is a unique opportunity to learn from the best engraving professionals of the country: the techniques, the secrets and the versatility of engraving as a means for expressing our creativity. A new way for artists to express themselves or just a hobbie with good results. The Espai F ( Art Fallery ) of the city holds an exhibition with the best works of the course once a year.

 

One of the big efforts of the IMAC (Municipal Istitute of Cultural Action)  is organizing the best workshops and activities for students. That's why the activities offered by Mataró Museum are overbooked every year. And the same happens in the masquerade of Saint Jordi. The teachers and the directors of studies of educational centres appraise the quality of the workshops, the guided tours and the pedagogical activities in the cultural facitities, the exhibition rooms, the theatres... Because we know that students nowadays learn a culture that will turn into tomorrow's.
